Day-to-Day Work

My Issues, My Tasks & Inbox

Your personal work surfaces in GreenVee — see everything assigned to you in one place.

GreenVee gives you three personal work surfaces that filter everything in the system down to what matters to you. You do not need to open individual projects to find your work.

My Issues shows every Issue currently assigned to your User Account, across all projects.

Use My Issues to:

  • Check whether any approvals, requests, or problems are waiting on you
  • Update the state of an Issue (for example, move it from In Progress to In Review)
  • See upcoming due dates and priorities at a glance

The columns you can show are: State, Due date, Assignee, Creator, Priority, Cycle, Labels, Department, Project, Parent Issue, Created and Updated dates. See Creating & Managing Custom Views below for how to choose which ones show.

My Tasks shows every Task assigned to you as a Project Member, across all active projects.

Use My Tasks to:

  • See all scheduled work across every project you are part of
  • Check start dates and durations for your upcoming work
  • Confirm which project segment each Task belongs to

The columns you can show are: State, Address, Date, Segment, Assignee, Creator, Project, and Created/Updated dates. See Creating & Managing Custom Views below for how to choose which ones show.

Both My Issues and My Tasks are built around workspaces — named, savable views, shown as tabs at the top of the page. The Main workspace is there by default; you can add as many more as you need.

Each workspace remembers, separately:

  • Grouping — see Grouping below
  • Sort order — the field and direction rows are sorted by
  • Visual typeList or Board
  • Visible columns — see Choosing Columns below
  • Filter conditions on My Tasks — narrow the list down (for example, only Tasks in a specific segment). This filter bar sits above the table.

To create a workspace, click the + next to the tabs, give it a title, and set up grouping/sorting/columns before saving. To change an existing workspace, click its tab options to edit or delete it. Workspaces persist across sessions — they’ll be exactly as you left them next time you sign in.

Instead of one long list, you can group rows by a field — each group becomes its own section (or, in Board view, its own column). Set this from the workspace’s ordering menu.

  • Issues can be grouped by: State, Assignee, Priority, Label, Project, or Department
  • Tasks can be grouped by: State, Assignee, or Project

Every workspace can be switched between List (a grouped table) and Board — a Kanban-style layout where each group becomes a column and each Issue or Task is a card you can scan at a glance. Toggle between the two from the workspace’s ordering menu; the grouping field you’ve chosen becomes the board’s columns.

Open a workspace’s display settings to toggle which columns are visible — turn off ones you don’t need to keep the table focused on what matters for that view. Column choices are saved per workspace, so different workspaces can show different information.

Labels are colored tags you can attach to an Issue (for example, to mark a category or theme). Add one or more from the Issue’s label picker, or create a brand-new label on the spot. Labels show up as a column and can be used to group an Issues workspace.

Subscribers let you follow an Issue or Task without being its assignee — useful when you want to be kept in the loop on something you didn’t raise yourself. Add subscribers from an Issue’s or Task’s right-click menu, or from the Issue detail view. Subscribing does not currently add the item to your My Issues/My Tasks list or send a notification — that will happen once the Inbox (below) is live.

The Inbox is your personal notification feed. It will surface mentions, Issue updates on Issues you subscribe to, and other activity relevant to you — without you having to check each project manually.
