People, Skills & Teams

This section covers the people side of GreenVee — the records that represent who works at your company, what they can do, and how they are grouped.

These records are master data: they exist independently of any single project and are reused across the whole platform. You set them up once and they feed every project, report, and resource view.

How it all fits together

An Employee is the central person record. They belong to a Department, may supervise other employees, and carry a list of Skills. When an employee joins a project they become a Project Member — a separate record that captures their role and rate on that specific project. Their login identity is stored in a linked User Account.

Note

All records in this section — Employees, Departments, Skills, and Skill Categories — are master data. Deleting or changing them affects every project that references them.
