How to read these docs

These docs are organized by what you are trying to understand, not by where the underlying code lives. Each section answers a different question about GreenVee.

Conventions used in these docs

Persona callouts

Where a topic matters most to a specific role, you’ll see a tagged callout:

For Project Managers

A note specifically for PMs.

For Engineers

A note specifically for engineers and technical designers.

Concept callouts

These four callout styles are used throughout:

Note

A useful clarification or a piece of background context.

Tip

A best-practice suggestion or a recommendation about how to use a feature.

Caution

Something that is easy to confuse with something else, or a known limitation.

Danger

A warning about data loss, irreversible actions, or behavior that surprises people.

Side-by-side terms

GreenVee has several pairs of concepts that look alike but mean different things. Where this is the case, there is usually a dedicated “X vs. Y” page in the relevant section, plus an entry in the glossary. Examples:

If you ever read something here that contradicts another page, the “X vs. Y” comparison page is the one to trust — it is written specifically to disambiguate.

What you will not find here

• Click-by-click button instructions. A separate UI guide, not yet written, will cover that.
• Developer or API documentation. This site is for end users.
• Setup and operations. Workspace provisioning, identity provider configuration, and infrastructure are handled by GreenVee operators and your IT team.
